What exactly is building enclosure consulting, and where can it take your career?
The IIBEC Sacramento Valley Branch is excited to be hosting an interactive introduction to the many career opportunities within the building enclosure industry at California State University Sacramento.
Students will hear directly from professionals working across consulting, engineering, construction, contracting, and related fields about what they do, how they got there, and the different paths available to enter the profession.
We hope to use this opportunity to help students:
- Discover new career paths within the building enclosure industry.
- Learn what employers look for and the education, experience, certifications, and skills that can help you get started.
- Hear real career stories from professionals representing different areas of the industry.
- Connect with local professionals and organizations that can serve as resources as you begin your career.
- Ask questions about internships, entry-level positions, career growth, and what working in the industry is actually like.
Building enclosure consulting sits at the intersection of design, construction, engineering, materials, building science, problem-solving, and investigation, and we are excited to be provided the opportunity to be sharing this information with the next generation of building enclosure consultants.
